Long ago when the world was coated with ice, the very breath of winter wanted a steed to bear Him and His people across the icy snow, and to the reaches of the world where the sun shined and the weather was warmer. He breathed life into small frozen beast, who sprouted to be massive animals, with bright eyes and sharp horns, and a fierce loyalty to the man they came to know as "Father Winter". Father Winter gave his children the gift of magic, to fly without wings, and horns sharp enough to protect their precious cargo they toted across the land or sky. Their eyes are said to hold mini stars that can see for miles in pitch darkness.
They can navigate at night perfectly, using stars as guides.
Made from the breath of Father Winter, and the Heart of the storm, the Winter's children are literally born from the winter.
The heart that beats inside the chest of these wonderful beings, is cold as ice, and when the Winter's Child perishes, their bodies turn to snow flakes, leaving behind their frozen hearts in hope to return as a faun in the Fawn Fallen Season.
All Winter's Children have frozen hearts, as do Spring and Fall's Children. Summer's Children have hearts bearing fire.

-They can bear a charm around their neck, hidden under clothing usually, that is a gift from their Tribe leader as a sign of coming of age. This charm usually bears some significance to the child and helps them with their magic as it can get out of hand sometimes. when this happens, the air around the child becomes extremely cold, and they often turn things to ice.
-Common in more winter areas, tropical climates are rare, but not per say unheard of.
-Said to be in service of the queen these people/animals are often very regal.

It depends on the form the parents are in on the combination of magics. These children are born with homage to their natural alignments, or a combination of their two parents.

This trait is not purchasable at this time The Crown- Only eight known Winter's Children bear the crown of winter, a sign they are leaders in the clans. This trait is unpurchasable, and never will be. The icy crown floats between the wearers antlers, held up by unknown magics.
